This article provides information on how to live stream Osasuna vs Sevilla in the Copa del Rey quarter-final on Wednesday 25 January 2023.
Osasuna, to date, have featured in just one Copa final, beaten by Real Betis in 2005, but are now on the cusp of their first semi-final since then. To get here, Jagoba Arrasate’s team overcame Fuentes, Arnedo and Gimnastic de Tarragona in early rounds, before causing a bit of an upset last Wednesday.
Osasuna vs Sevilla live streaming: Match details
Match: Osasuna vs Sevilla

Date: Wednesday January 25, 2023
Kick-off time: 21:00 (UK time)
Stadium: El Sadar
They held Betis to a 2-2 draw away from home, thanks to equalisers from David Garcia and Ruben Garcia, coming in stoppage time and then extra time. Osasuna prevailed in the subsequent shootout, converting all four of their spot-kicks, thereby knocking out the holders. The are currently seventh in La Liga, having lost just two of their last nine league fixtures.
In stark contrast, Sevilla are in a relegation battle right now, despite finishing fourth in each of the last three seasons. Los Nervionenses enjoyed a massive victory on Saturday night, Ivan Rakitic’s late penalty downing Cadiz, a result that saw them leap out of the bottom three.
That was just a fourth league win all season for Jorge Sampaoli’s side, as many as they’ve enjoyed in this competition. Despite their horrendous league form, Sevilla are actually yet to concede in this season’s Copa, overcoming Velarde, Juventud de Torremolinos, Linares Deportivo and Alaves.
This though will be a far tougher assignment, not least because Osasuna beat Sevilla 2-1 at home on the opening night of this season.
Sevilla will be hoping they can utilise their form in the Copa del Rey to boost the second half of their La Liga campaign, when they contest the quarter-finals this week. It’s been a poor season for Sevilla who only recently moved out of the La Liga relegation zone, but things are still very tight.
Solace has come in the Copa del Rey, with Sevilla beating Velarde, Juventud Torremolinos, Linares and Alaves to reach the final eight.
Osasuna, meanwhile, are on the periphery of the top four battle and may set their sights on a high league finish (and potential European football) rather than cup success – though that could depend on the draw should they get through this round. So far in the Copa del Rey, Osasuna have knocked out Fuentes, Arnedo, Gimnastic and defending champions Real Betis.
Osasuna team news
Lucas Torro is available for Osasuna once more after he missed the 1-1 draw with Elche at the weekend due to suspension for an accumulation of yellow cards. The hosts remain without Nacho Vidal and Ruben Pena due to injury, but otherwise Jagoba Arrasate has a full squad from which to choose.
Sevilla team news
Thomas Delaney is back amongst the Sevilla squad, finally returning from an injury picked up while representing Denmark at the World Cup as is Marcos Acuna who was suspended at the weekend.
However, Fernando picked up a knock in the 1-0 win over Cadiz and is not part of the squad, joining Alex Telles, Tecatito and Papu Gomez on the sidelines.
